As is true with many brick and mortar stores a shopper finds a wider selection of merchandise at the stores’ online website. This was the situation when I found with an indoor outdoor rug on the Home Depot website.

I happen to live in an area with many Home Depot’s within a 20 minute drive. Just to be certain I used the Home Depot store locator on the website to check if the item was in stock at any of the close by locations. The online shopping pick up at store option is for both in stock and online only items.
This option is one of the most convenient options for those who want a quick shopping experience. In store pickup is offered free and is a great savings on shipping fees and the items can be picked up at the customer service desk at the front of the store.
I placed my online order on Monday May 9th. Received confirmation of the order with an expected pick up date of May 18-23. Thursday May 12 I received an email that the order was complete and ready for pick up!
How easy is that! I drove to the Home Depot and approached the online pick up area which is located by the entrance. I showed the proper identification and was back in the car with my purchase within 10 minutes.
Online Shopping Strategy At Home Depot To Save
With the intent to maximize points and save on shipping fees I used the free pick up store option on the Home Depot website which equals free shipping. But first I navigated to Swagbucks to enter the Home Depot online shopping website to order so I could earn swagbucks with the order.
Next step was paying for the purchase with a Paypal card which earns cash back on purchases. So for this purchase I did not pay shipping, earned rewards at Swagbucks and the merchandise was delivered to Home Depot customer service desk.
Earning Rewards With Swagbucks And Swagbucks Mobile App

I love shopping this way! Our HD is only abut 10 minutes away and I could easily stop by to pick up my items off the shelves, but I love saving and making a few $ here and there. I’ve always been ordering gift cards from MyGiftCard Plus on SB where I pay for them with my CC, still get cash back but also get bonus points from SB. Great review!

I enjoyed shopping at home depot when I lived in Florida. Now there isn’t one close to where I live. I go Menard’s Lowe’s. or Arp’s hardware.
We have a Lowes close by too and also our local hardware store we support.
