Week two of the Ultimate Blogging Challenge has been completed and I am now officially questioning why this was a good idea to participate. It’s not that I don’t know why … but the execution has indeed been a challenge.
Which brings the question of why does one need a challenge when one could easily write 30 posts consecutively at anytime of the year. Probably for me it is awakening the competitive spirit within my inner competitor.
But more importantly … Who Ate My Tomato?
Reluctantly after many years of living on the critter highway where anything I plant is nibbled, munched and trampled on in this urban suburban yard I decided to plant tomatoes again. I love garden tomatoes. And so do my critters. Now I am naming them. Fairly soon they may attain pet status.
And my reward? Once again some little furball chomped on the first tomato of the season. White flag. These little critters have outsmarted, outwitted and outplayed all my attempts at vegetable growing management.
